Passionate about animal welfare Claudia established yoga & organic vegan cooking retreats in Provence, Yoga & Nature in...organic living in Provence. Inspired by the success in running yoga retreats for several years and on the positive comments received from the guests dining at her table d'hôtes or guests' dinner she decided to combine her two passions, yoga & cooking. In 2016 and 2017 she ran yoga & vegan cooking retreats in England at Elvey Farm hotel owned by previous guests at her B&B, Mariantonietta & Enrico
Claudia's natural curiosity leads her to combine foods from allover the world, with a focus on Mediterranean and of course Provencal dishes. She studied essential oils, their history, extraction and uses in London and now infuses desserts with lavender, mint and other delicious natural aromas.
Inspiration comes from what nature has to offer us, respecting its natural cycle of growth, adding ideas and experiences from her travels to many interesting places. Food is not just about eating or the ingredients used but also the care and attention put into the preparation, the respect and kindness. Coming from a family background of bakers (her grandfather), patisserie chefs (her aunt, her uncle, her cousin) and cooks (aunt) she has been surrounded by this experience of food her entire life.
